1990 olds cutlass ciera..wtf?

My 1990 Olds Cutlass Ciera 3.3L V6 runs fine for about 10 minutes until the engine gets "warm", then it stalls out and will not restart unless I let it sit awhile. Then the same thing happens again. About a year ago, I had this same problem and in the process changed coolant temp. sensor, mass air flow sensor, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel injectors, throttle position sensor and fuel pressure regulator before finding out that my code scanner was not picking up a code for the crankshaft position sensor. (for some reason the ECM was not storing this code?) CPS was replaced and the problem apparently fixed. However the problem has returned although not entirely with the exact same symptoms(close enough to make pretty sure). Anyone with any experience in this problem with related vehicle please let me know. I am going nuts trying to figure it out, and have a limited budget to repair this car. Thank you for your time.

Re: 1990 olds cutlass ciera..wtf?

My young'uns '86 Camaro V6 had a bad coil...would start cold but not hot...showed spark the whole time but couldn't light off the mix under compression. Can you borrow a coil?

I have recently had theDIS including all coil packs tested and the results were fine.

On this vehicle there is no cam sensor. The Crankshaft Position Sensor is also referred to as a combination sensor for this model. I believe the 3.8L Ciera was the only one with an actual cam sensor.

I am going nuts.

Drove the car for 2 mins. to the store to get milk---came back out and it would not start.
I walked back home, waited 4 hours, went back to get it and it still won't start.
This is the first time it will not start cold.
WTF is going on?????????
