While driving I hear a squeal coming from the back. I guess that means I need brake pads. I called and the lady told me Brake SHoes go on the back and brake pads go on the front. IS THIS Correct? And, is there a diagram on how to change your brake shoes? My son will be doing the repair, he has only changed brake pads before and never brake shoes. Is this an easy process?

Re: Need Brake Shoes
most blazers have pads on the back it's easy enough to check. look through the rim for a brake rotor it will look like the ones on the front. i wouldn't recomend replacing brake shoes if you've never done it. brakes are way too important to screw up if you don't know what your doing.
