I have a 90 gran prix 3.1 that is killing the battery when it sits for more than 12 hours I disconnected the altenator and did volt checks on all fuses. I had 12 volts on the 60 amp ignition fuse and also on the 30 amp blower fuse under the hood. I also was pulling juice in the fuse box on the Ignition fuse and the brake fuse and the curtisy fuse. Now I would also say that I disconnected the ignition switch on the couloum and was still drawing 12 at the battery. Is there a list of what circits should be drawing juice with everything off? I have almost put myself in the funny farm on this one!!!!!

Re: What is the fuses that should be passing 12 volts with key off?
make sure all the interior lights are off. ashtray, glovebox. hook up a test light in series with the pos battery cable. if it lights theres a draw. now pull fuses one at a time till the light goes out. because there is 12v at a fuse doesn't mean the circuits drawing power. any circuit with a switch on the negative side of the fusebox will show 12V. good luck. make sure everythings turned off before you hook up the test light
