Lost cause.
You need a turbocharger (or two!).

You need to drive perfectly and you need to break his right leg so he cannot.

You know. I think even with an automatic and no legs he'd still beat you.

NO.
The GST/GSX are roughly at par with each other, GSX being better at launches. They pretty much even out after a distance, and the GST begins to take the upper hand because of its lighter weight.

there is things you can do to beat a stock gsx, exhaust intake cams etc.. probly gonna need to put in about 2grand to out run a gsx, its possible just gonna take money, now if the gsx is modded then you need a vr4

good luck...SL has enough power to push...hahah...does the SL have the VR4 engine, just without the Twin Turbos???

Re: SL vs 94 eclipse GSX with turbo...
NO, they don't have the same engine. That is why the twin turbo conversions are such a pain. Because you need to take lots of parts off a vr4 engine. You can't just bolt on 2 turbos.
