Turbo motor swap in a 86.5
I have a 86.5 5sp NA Supra and I am in the process of swapping it out for a totally rebuilt 7mgte. The 7mgte came out of a junkyard 87 turbo automatic supra that was a great find. I was wondering will there be any issues with a turbo auto ecu being put on a 5 speed. I also was wondering will the transmission be a problem it being form a 7mge.
Also would there be any advantage to bolting up the intake system form the 7mge to the 7mgte. |

I hate saying this in every other post but please search first, I've covered this exact same topic so many times. The n/a manifold won't help at all in a forced induction setup, the n/a manifold is designed for optimum harmonics/pressure wave tuning to help build more power at a specific RPM, as soon as you introduce added pressure to it the tuning changes and makes it worthless. Heres a few just to get you started.
