I've always been curious if non-Italians have ever been hired to work for Ferrari... Would anyone if non-Italian Ferrari employees exist?

Yes. For example, their race team principal, Jean Todt, is French.

As for factory employees, I'm sure nationality has nothing to do with it. They are located in Italy...what do you expect their work force to look like?

Yea, I was mainly concerned about the business aspect of Ferrari. Thanks for the post though. BTW, does anyone know how difficult it is to get into that business? Say for example in marketing... however, not nessessarly in Italy but North America as well.

There is the usual corporate ethic mix at Ferrari North America, Alot of Italians in Italy but also some English and others on the corporate side. Ferrari is EOE just like other companies and does not require Italian heritage to work there, just skill sets for the job. You can apply for a job by applying directly to them. They also post jobs in various places for open postions. There is a process to get in just the same as other companies. Before FNA changed their website at the end of the 90's the used to have a career page with job postings. Your best bet (if you are really qualified) would be to contact head hunters in their area and see if they do non-exclusive rep for them.

Thanks for the post!...I need advice though, I'm still young, and now I need to figure out my entire education plan... does anyone have any suggestions on what type of courses I should be taking for a business position in a high company like Ferrari. Is marketing even a wise direction to go into? Does it have a future, and are the people who go into it successful? Or is there other parts in the automotive business world that are more demanding and rewarding? Also... if I am interested in applying to a company like Ferrari in the late future, I'm only assuming various languages will be very important for me to know... right? If you guys can help me out with these questions i'll really appreciate it! I need to figure out what steps I need to make for the future. Thanks.
