Question Car alarm installation

Hello,

I just purchased a 98 Altima and would like to install an alarm system. How would I go about doing this????

All ideas appreciated,

Chanty

Find a reputable alarm shop. I do not recomend doing the install yourself unless you really know what you are doing. I doubt that you do since you asked this question. Try to find anything from Directed Electronics. They are one of the best out there. You don't have to go with the highest model number, they all protect about the same. The higher end models just give you more channels.

my findings

I'm looking into getting an alarm/remote starter, and everything I've read matches up with the above poster's comments... DEI supposedly makes the best gear... look for avital or viper stuff...Personally, I'm looking at the Avistart 4300, which is a combination security system and remote starter... only $132.00 online.

Go for the 563t 2-way Valet system with remote start. It works better than the Avital system.
