Rain-x
Have any of you used Rain-x? I tried it, and love it , when I am going fast enough and it is raining hard, but when I have to use the wipers because of light mist or slow speeds, the wipers chatter so bad I cant stand it. is that normal with rain-x? Do you know any way to stop it?

Re: Rain-x
i know someone who has it and the wipers chattering happens all the time. i don't know what to do about it besides just leave your wipers at a slow speed when it's not bad out.

Re: Re: Re: Rain-x
Clean your blades several times using denatured alcohol(rubbing alcohol is fine too)this should take care of it. Rain-X is a good product and was designed for wiper contact. The chatter is usually a result of getting car wax or similar substance on the blades. If it continues just replace the inserts, they may have hardend.

Re: Rain-x
I agree with Indy8, I once had the same problem and then I cleaned the wipers with Alcohol and then they worked like a charm. I found out the culpret was the local carwash and the type of wax that comes out of the wand was building up on my wiperblades.

Re: Rain-x
Rain-x is the best! Indy is right, my wipers worked teriffic until I used a wax/wash soap on the car, then they started chattering. The denatured/rubbing alcohol will fix it.

Re: Rain-x
I myself am a big fan of Rain-X and I recently tried the windsheild washing fluid put out by them and that works awesome as well...
