What kind of coilovers are best??
hey,
Im about to get some new coilovers and I am looking at some dropzone adjustables.  Anyone know how good or bad dropzones are? and what else would i need to get after installing new coilovers. thanks |

If you read or search you'll find out that Dropzones are junk. There's only one way to go with coilover sleeves, Ground Control.
You will need new struts & camber kits for optimum use. Koni yellows are best suited for coilover sleeve use. Some thing to look into would be a true coilover setup, Tein basic can be found for cheap. It's just too bad there is no adjustable dampening. As always, spend the money the first time around. |

Those are garbage, if you get a sleeve get Ground Controls, but the best is a threaded body coilover, or true coilover, where hte threads are on th shock. Save some cash and get some of those, something like the Tein, JIC, GAB, or Bilsteins.

i have the vis v.2 sleeves on my 00 si...my stock shocks lasted for awhile..until it busted a hole in my hood..now i'm looking for some springs/shocks..in my opinion..they're a waste of money and time.

yup, you will regret being cheap. It will end up costing you in the long run. If you do decide to get sleeves the best are ground control. But by the time you buy ground controls and shocks (koni yellows are very good) you had might as well just get true coilovers.
