Question What Year is my BMW735i?

I just bought a BMW 735i few days ago..... Before I bought it I posted some questions regarding the year based on the VIN number I provided. Someone replied and said that the VIN shows that it was 06/90 (June/1990) model. Does that mean that the BMW is 1990? I heard that the year it was manufactured is not the model year.
Pls advise....
As always, thanks to all you experts out there.

Count out to the tenth digit of the 17-digit VIN. That letter will be an "L" if it's a 1990 model. It will be a "K" if it's a 1989, or an "M" if it's a 1991.

Thanks. I checked and I found "O" to be the tenth digit of the 17-digit VIN. This car is from Germany. Here's the full VIN #: WBA GB41 0 1 OD A45830.
So what's the year based on this letter "O"?

If it's a European model, then I don't know how you'd determine the year. I'm sure their VINs are different. "0" certainly does not correspond to an American model year designation. Good luck!

Re: What Year is my BMW735i?

try www.carfax.com
If it comes up as some stupid thing that has nothing to to with cars then search for it on www.google.com
Try your vin in there and it should tell you what year your car is, how many jobs were done on it like if there was an accicdent or something. Dont worry its all free untill you want to see what actually happened to it. Then its 10 bucks.
