What are some good driving songs?

Hey I recently got my license, and was wondering what songs you guys listen to when you're driving...I'm talking about songs with loud bass, and relaxing songs, rap, hip hop, punk, rock...just let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Re: What are some good driving songs?

for nice rainy days, nothing beats "little brother - whatever you say"

At nights I like blasting up A Tribe Called Quest, a good mix of chill beats and fast beats.

Inspectah Deck, Raekwon and wu-tang during the day, and Dj Premier beats

Re: What are some good driving songs?

I'm a bit older...

SuperGroove - Scorpio Girls
Faith No More - Epic
The Cult - Either Sun King or Edie (Ciao Baby)
(My three psych-up songs as I drive up the road to the ski-hill)

Rob Dougan - Furious Angels (off the Matrix Reload S/T)
GNR - November Rain (Seriously, play that first thing in the morning driving down the Great Ocean Road during a howling storm)
The Superjesus - Down Again
Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Operator
Jimmy Barnes - Driving Wheels (Freight Train Heart - it's not subtle, not particularly clever...)
Pennywise - Society

Re: What are some good driving songs?

Static X-The Only
3 Doors Down-Dangerous Game\When I'm gone
Trapt-Headstrong
Uncle Kracker-Keep it coming
Nickeback-Someday

As you can tell I like rock, most of these songs don't talk about cars or anything along those lines, But they make driving a pleasure for me anyway.

Get any of the Tiesto - In Search Of Sunrise mixes. There's 1, 2 and 3.

Re: What are some good driving songs?

Depends on the driving.

The WHOLE Back In Black album is great for driving.

Re: What are some good driving songs?

Oh Yeah : Yello
Safety Dance : Men Without Hats
Solid State Survivor (the whole album) : YMO
Pocket Calculator : Kraftwerk

Generally I like to listen to music from the era the car was made in, the above songs worked well with my '82 Corolla-Tercel.
