thats for a 240sx, g20s need the Bluebird DET or GTI-R, the s13 and s14 sr20dets are RWD.

They have some good prices though. All 25k miles or less is pretty good also. I've seen one 240sx with a Silvia conversion down where I live, pretty tight.

Does it matter if the source car is RWD or not?
I though the engine just feeds to the gear box, so for all SR20DE* engines the connection would come from the same place. How does it work if this is not the case? |

Yes it does matter....
RWD SR20DET mount the transmission completely different because the motor is mounted long ways. Not to mention that the intake manifold points in opposite directions, as well as other differences. For a front wheel drive car you will need a DET from an AWD GTI-R or Bluebird. These cars mount the engine in the same orientation as a front wheel drive car. |

Actually, the RWD and AWD blocks are slightly different and that is why you cannot mount the FWD gearbox.
