Hi, can anyone give me a rough estimate on how much horsepower a 67 Firebird with a 400ci engine would have, aswell as an estimate on the gas mileage.
Thanx in advance ~ Andyman

Re: 67 Firebird w/ 400
Latest issue of Hemmings Muscle Cars has a review of the 68 Firebird 400 H.O. It lists stock rating at 335 horsepower and 430 lbs of torque. Also, it states that the 4 barrel on Firebirds has a restrictor to prevent 4 barrel from opening completely. No mention of M.P.G. rating. That is very dependant on the rear gear.
