brake lightbulbs

how do u get the housing off for the 3rd brake light(inside the car) and would anyone happen to kno wat number bulb it is? thnks

Here http://www.sylvania.com/auto/carapp/ you could find out what Bulb #'s needed. as for removale of bulb, what kind of car?

The housing comes off with two screws from the inside of the car. The bulb comes out from underneath in the trunk. It is a twist & lock type. Don't know the bulb # tho...Mine used to not work a lot so I changed the bulb...it turns out the connection (big-ass plug) between the doors that connects the front & back half of the car was loose...so now when my light doesn't work, I open and shut my door with the brake on and it works
