2 questions (size and truck)

Ok first question.I've never ridden before but my whole family except for me rides. I'm currently saving for my first bike, and I'm wondering if I'm choosing the right size. I'm 17, 5'4, and I was thinking of getting a CR 125. the main problem is the same problem tha many people my size are facing, am I too short for the bike?

ok the next question is, what would be the minimum truck bed size I would need to carry my bike standing in the bed? I have a 1500 silverado right now, but I don't know if that's a big enough bed to hold my bike.

Re: 2 questions (size and truck)

Dont know about the height issue, Ive seen shorty people ride them fine. It just takes a little technique. Get what you feel most comfortable on.

As for the truck bed, a 1500 should be plenty big enough.

Re: 2 questions (size and truck)

the truck will hold it fine, you can ride a 125 fine like Racing Rice said you have to learn how, I suggest getting a wheel block or somthing to hold the bikes front tire steady while on the truck or trailer, Ive seen far too many bikes tip and smash the bed. Most guys who race are short and light.
Good Luck.
