No heat

I have a 1989 b2200 truck.The radiator and thermostat are both new.Temp runs in the lower 1/4 of gauge.
when I switch to the heater,i get no heat,not even warm,seems like air is ambient temp.no matter what setting on slide controls i get cold air. Please help winter is coming on.

this happened to mine. it turned out that it was the cable that ran to the themastat dial on the dash broke. It you look behind the dash and move the dial back and forth you can see which pulley it goes to. You can easily move it manually and see if you get heat.

I was unable to find a source to replace mine. if this turns out to be your problem and you find a replacement, let me know!
