Re: Camaro Crapped Out

well, i dunno what really happened to it. from what the garage that i took it to (i know a few people there, they usually hook me up), and what the dealer said, i guess it was one of the main bearings in the engine. all i know is when it idled or revved at all, there was a loud ass clicking noise. i called the dealer, and luckily he took it back. i'm disappointed. i'm driving in my 1989 firebird v6 right now, still a good car, still running strong. i found a 99 camaro v6 5 speed w/ 57500 miles for $8750. emailed the dealer, hope to talk him down to about 6500, or so. being a HS student sucks ass. i don't have a good paying job, and bank loans rape. it's gonna cost me like $300 a month in payments, and i am going to barely be able to swing it. but, after driving the 97 for 4 hours, i def. need to get a 97 + camaro. nice car, powerful v6. never got to use it to it's full potential. i was REALLY disappointed when the dealer said that he really didn't want to replace the engine and give it back to me. w/e, i hope all works out in the end
