Need some help to figure out how to get my car running due to a sensor that fails due to the cold weather (-35 C) GM knows about it and apparently they are replacing many of these in the last week due to our deep freeze but they can't get my car in until next Friday.
So if anyone has had this problem and knows what i can do to try and get it working again...(no garage) that would be helpful. Anyone living in cold climate better get this checked out as it really sucks when you get stranded at -35. Shan |

Whats happening is the engine is being killed upon start up, runs for about 3 seconds and just dies. It has something to do with the anti-theft device as well. It's some kind of passkey module sensor. That is about as much as I know.
