Re: For all you TBI guys out there.
someone on www.thirdgen.org does have an LO3 camaro with a paxston superchanrger on it. ive talked to him several times he said it was really hard to do and wouldnt recommend it. He said its prob easier going with a root style blower with an adapter plate its alot easier to do i would think..
As far as trucks go i know there are several setups that would work with tbi on trucks. heres the link of the tread that talks about that blown tbi camaro http://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/show...ight=blown+tbi

Re: For all you TBI guys out there.
You can supercharge and turbo charge a TBI. Both are a pain in the butt. Unless you get one of them supes made for TBI..them ones made for the trucks will work for the camaros too..they say made for trucks because the tbi is a truck set up. So...it can be done. I wouldn't put a roots type blower on it because it's a pain trying to extend the wiring harness. Who makes them lil bitty superchargers..is it pro charger? Anyway, it's a small thing that would make you think it's a turbo..but still a pain.

Re: For all you TBI guys out there.
the TBI superchargers i've seen were for the 350's tho rather than the 305.

Re: For all you TBI guys out there.
they would still work, externally the two are identical, only difference on a 305 is the smaller bore, smaller cam, thats it.

I have a friend with a TBI 305. He has money, I have the skill. I think it is time to make a turbo 305.....
Personally I have a 5.0 that Im doing a twins setup. But I have no money, so I think I'm going to experiment with his car. See if it can be done. I dono

Re: For all you TBI guys out there.
thats the best way to do...experiment on someone else's car, so you dont screw up yours...j/k. but seriously if you can get that to work throw some post up whenever you get to it. that would be a mean car i think
