Hey Vlad how ya doin,
Mate I've never done this particular conversion but I'd say your up for a set of suitable V8 mounts maybe an engine sump, transmission(if you didn't score one with the LT1),radiator,exhaust system, shifter, tailshaft and a stronger diff(unless it's fitted with a large salisbury).
Does the LT1 have an engine management computer?

Sorry if I've missed anything but most of my experience is with aussie ford muscle. But shit mate if your keen it's far from impossible to do,probably best to source a wrecked chev/holden powered HQ/HJ/HX/HZ OR WB series holden and use that as a donor.

Cheers,
stagger lee.

Edit:spelling

Re: Engine swap

Stagger,

Doing good here mate how about you?

Well the LT1 I have coming is a full set up comes with wiring harness, ECM, pwersteering, ac compressor, and all the brackets. It also has the stock extractors. I 'm also getting the 700R4 that comes with it. I planning on having a custom radiator made going to have to have the driveshaft redone to accept the 700R4. Exhaust was cheaper to get it made here rather sending for one.
As far as a diff I trying to see if I could sccop up some info on a commadore IRS to put in it.
if not then just going to have do with what I got til I can get a posi.
I guess since I wasnt sure about the motor mount placement that had me a bit worried. thanks for the input bro.
