3.3 s/c Mods...looking at a Frontier
Yes, I know Im in the wrong forum...but the other is a little slow. I did several searches and found little.
I am thinking of buying an 03 S/C frontier crew cab 4x4. The only draw back I can see is the power and mpg. Now, I found that you can get a cold air intake and smaller pulleys. I own a supercharged GTP that is well modded so I am aware of some of the dynamics to blown motors. So here are the questions: What are the dyno proven gains of a 2.4 and a 2.3? Are there any knock issues associated with the 2.3? What heat range plugs should be run with either pulley? Are there any scanners on the market to monitor KR? Are headers available? Any reason why I shouldnt be looking at a Frontier (other than premium fuel and bad mpg)? BTW, Im a noob to this forum...so be nice . I am a member of clubgp.com under the same name for those that might recognize my screen name. Thanks for any input.... links welcome!!!! |
