JDM B20a turbo project

Ok so Im just about done with all the parts and it time to start thinking engine rebuild. The turbo kit is a modified ludespeed kit(preludes tilt towards firewall, accords tilt towards radiator) witha TA34 turbo with a trim or .42. I have an Apexi S-AFC, HKS EVC 4, TIAL 35mm wastegate, HKS SSQ BOV, GUDE intake and TB but will soon be putting on a JDM B16 intake modified to fit the JDM B20a of course. I dont plan on running more than say 18 psi if the turbo will even produce that much. Its been modified to run on an external wastegate
The engineEngine type Water cooling serial 4 cylinder horizontal ranging (unleaded gasoline use)

Combustion room type Roof shape

Valve gear DOHC belt driving inhalation 2 exhaust 2

Entire aerodynamic volume displacement (cm 3 ) 1,958

Inside diameter x distance (mm) 81.0~95.0

Compression ratio 9.4

Fuel feeder type Electronic fuel injection system (HONDA PGM-FI)

Fuel pump type Electromotive system

Fuel tank capacity (L) 60

Lube capacity (L) 5

Lubricating system Force system

Ignition device type Full * transistor system

The highest output (PS/rpm) 160/6,300

Largest torque (kg-m/rpm) 19.0/5,000
anyway, for the rebuild I am having a golden eagle sleeves and head gasket installed, JG pistons and rods to keep stock comp ratio, ckank shotpeened, deburred and polished. and have the head gone through very well with porting, match porting, larger valving and heavier springs.

Questions
1. Is it worth it to knife edge cut the crank on a honda? How much increase in rpm accelleration and less rotational mass.

2. Is there a replacement turbo for the TA34 with ball bearings? It need to have the same mounting flange and about the same size as location is a little tight and I dont want to change my manifold or downpipe.

3. Would I benifit from an intercooler in this situation. the car will be mostly a driver on streets with a strip time in mind. Ill have 550cc injectors installed

4. Is there anything I am missing from my setup that I may have overlooked? I am working with quaife to see if the B20a5 LSD will fit my F2k5 tranny.

5.am I going to have a problem with stroke/bore ratio? I dont plan on running over 7-7500 rpm. Tuning? Drivablity?

sorry for the long post but I figure most of you havent ever heard of this engine or this situation yet. Oh and this IS NOT ht ecrv engine, It came from the JDM 86-89 accords only.

Re: JDM B20a turbo project

yes I ive there about 10 hours a week. I actually have 2 JDM B20a engines. One is going to be a N/A carbed engine. The accord has a weber 32/36 coversion on it so well see how much power you can get out of turbo and carbed engines.

Not many people no about these engines. I am trying to figure out as much as possible and since this is my first urbo project and I have almost 0 aftermarket support its kinda ccol. I cant stand the bolt in no mods everyone has for there cars. Its like a cookie cutter out there.
