I would get a b18c5 Integra Type R motor, that motor rocks if you want to go NA, but its expensive.
(195 hp 1.8l, 8400 red)
The B16A1 is a good engine and is cheap, the B16A2 same power just minor differences, hydraulic, those are good engines.

Get a B16... they're the best bang for the buck no matter how common they are. btw an Integra Type R motor costs $5k to $6k, I doubt you can afford that.

False. My BF sells JDM B18C[R] for $4400 shipped..could be $4300 depending on how quick you need it because it's shipped from Japan.

As for all of the oter posts, I agree but you should figure out first if you wanna stay naturally aspirated or do you wanna turbo it eventually...?

For $6k I'd buy either an LS engine or GSR and turbo whichever one you get rather than blow all your money for 200hp.

Re: what is a good engine to get for a 92-95 civic

Everyone has a difernet opinion on which engine is good. So find out the good & bad things from each engine and you can decide for yourself which engine is good.

If I were you and I had the money, I'd get a K20A2. But if you can't afford that, then I suggest a B18c1.
