Did this piece fall off of an 01 Pathfinder?

My sister says this part fell off her 01 Pathfinder. She heard a noise in the rear and then says she heard this fall. The first four pics are of the part and the last two are of parts in the rear axle of the car that also have similiar features (like the nail looking thing). The nuts on the mystery piece are 12mm to give you a sense on size. I have crawled under the car but can't find anything.

I have two of those near the back of my 01 Pathfinder I believe... one on each side.

I'll double-check when I get home today.

Thanks, any help would be great. I have looked all over both my sisters 01 4x4 and my dad's 01 4x2 and can't find anything. I posted on a couple other boards and they said it was an exhaust vibration isolator. Nobody knew where it came from on the car though.

Okay, scratch that... last night I had thought I saw something that looked like that, but I searched again tonight and didn't. Sorry.
