I think he is spinning the tires when he hits boost and thats why the speedo jumps like his tach.

looks like a slipping clutch to me, it gets worse in higher gears, tire spin would get better (go away) in higher gears.

but the speedo is hooked to the trany and if the clutch sliped then speedo wouldn't go up, I think the wheels have to spin for the speedo to go up.

If its the tires spinnin, it seems as if the car would shake more. Unless hes spinnin extremly fast. But towards the end he lets off the gas, and you can see the mph go down slowly.

Maybe he just isn't getting into it.

My car can easily spin the tires in 3rd,and it is very smooth, no wheel hop, no screech, just smoke.

are you guys fucking retarded? watch his boost gauge. he is boosting around 20PSI. 20PSI WILL SMOKE TIRES OFF.

he obviously has a DOHC VTEC turbo and it is having traction problems..

But even if it has enough power to spin allthe way through third, when it would grab, the speedo would go way down. Plus hes goin pretty fast past that truck

Just saw this earlier today over at http://www.srtforums.com and they said the same thing, BIG turbo with lag and spinning the tires once he gets the power.

that's a lot of lag...it is like the turbo isn't really useful?? I really don't know shit about turbos so that is my guess..why bother if that is all you get out of it.
So wouldn't a tranny that's geared a little taller help?
