question
hey my buddys civic is flashing a code 10 and the engine light stays on. He has just finished rebuliding the whole block and head. and has it running again. I belive that the code 10 is an air intake temperature. He has already replaced the senser on the intake so that fix is out of the question. Another other ideas of what it could be?

Re: question
our sedan did that. it also had an irratic idle when you'd first try and cold start it. what i would do is sit there and hold the idle up above 2500-ish and torture warm it up. then i'd shut it off &pull the hazard fuse to reset the ecu. then it would run fine & dandy. generally i wouldn't do something so ghetto but i pulled ligaments in my wrist and i could only drive the AT sedan.
after we sold it (to a friend) we gave him a deal on the car and an IACV (Intake Air Control Valve). after he replaced that and reset the ecu it runs without problem
