Does anyone know if a K&N FIPK for a 97 5.7L will still bolt on correctly if you have a Helix TB spacer already bolted on? I sure hope so cause I just found a great deal on a spacer on E-Bay.

Re: TB Spacer
I had a 93 5.7L with a spacer and installed a K&N FIPK. However...I could not tell a difference after I installed the spacer. Save your money and buy a Jet Performance chip for the computer. Or a Hypertech or SuperChips programmer. I had the spacer, FIPK, Edelbrock Shorty headers, 3" cat back exhaust with no muffler (boy was it loud) and the thing that made the biggest difference was the chip. Not only did it accelerate faster it reprogramed the transmission shift points.

Re: TB Spacer
I would agree with Sonny on this one. The TB Spacer may add a little torque, but teh performance gains are not impressive. It also adds a whining noise, but if you are going with the K/N FIPK then that won't bother you..lol
Reprogrammers offer a huge change in performance that will leave you grinning for days. Start here and then add little componets for tweaking. Some good programmers are Predator, SuperChips and Hypertech. This are good for ease of install. Be sure and find a good tune already in use by another driver. Just my .02
