oil and coolant seapage
My 98 venture is developing oil and coolant seapage arount the thermostat area, to be honest this is the first time I checked that area, is hidden and you have to use a flashlight to see there. I currently don't have any coolant leak, the oil looks fine and clean. Do you think I should change the Intake gasket or wait and see what happens...
Thanks for your help. |

Re: oil and coolant seapage
it's probably the intake gasket. These are notorious for leaking on these vans. My van is on it's third set. I would wait and see what happens (a little CD-2 Stop leak couldn't hurt), epesially if you don't have the money to fix it. This is an expensive repair. The dealer here wants about 700 labor only to do the ones on my van.
