Help !!!!
Hey,
I know NOTHING about cars, and even less about fixing them, but I do know what I like, and I love my 1983 280ZX. Problem... it needs an engine swap. Now, I found an engine, but it's for a 79-81 280ZX. Will it work in my 83? If so, will I need to get new mounts and stuff, or will it just drop right in? If you guys could give me some help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. |

im pretty sure it should just drop right in. someone correct me if im wrong.
what happened to your current engine? and is it turbo? |

best thing to do is to take off and swap the intake manifolds.. as far as the head and block goes you shouldnt have a problem with them...
