Question question

my cousin and i are working on a project with remote control cars and we can only get the car to work if we are standing really close to it. does anyone have any suggestions what could be causing it to work that way? we really need to get it to be controled from farther away.

Make sure the batteries are new in the transmitter and the ones in the car are fully charged. Next check the antennas in both the car and transmitter to see if they are loose. If they are, tighten them back down. Depending on where you are running the car, you may be getting interference. If that's not it...is the car new? If it is, and these things don't fix it...did you run it through water? If not, take it to your local hobby shop and see if they can fix it. If this car was bought at a toy store/dept store or Radio Shack, take it back and exchange it, you may have gotten a defective car.

If that doesn't fix the problem, get you money back and buy a different brand of RC Car.
