I'm assuming it's called a 6.5 because this is the newer evolution 6 (different front bumper, no foglights) right before the evo 7 came out. Nice work as usual lau bak, I'm a big fan of your site. I especially like the purple s15 with bronze te-37 rims. Made me want to work on my s15

The most difficult part on this car is the MXrlboro decal on the bonnet. The black words were print on the white part so I can't spray the base white color and have to use the decal. I cut out the 3 small white edges at the above and put on the pentagon below with the help of decal softener. On that kind of curve it's quite impossible to put on decal perfectly so I hand-brush white paints on corners.

And thanks all. It was finished. I'll photo it when I get home later.

Yes it's common to call Evo6.5 in HK and Japan. I think it should call T.M. version in Europe and America?

yup you're right lau bak, that version is called the Tommy Makkinen edition. Here in the philippines they only had 1 car for sale, it was silver with white 17 inch multi spoke rims.

Holy cow that looks amazing, like all of your others. Maybe I could send you some of my unfinished kits, and you could build them for me. Yours look amazing.
