me old but mint gti
sadly i got rid of the golf 2 years back.it took me 5 years to build it .the car started of as a bogo gti so i thought i would give it a paint job .but as i got involved in it it was totaly stripped.when it was ready to be painted .o shit the garage burnt down all i got back was a bear shell every thing else was destroyed thats why it took so long to build had to get all the bits i had lost .so i saved and bought new parts the engine was totally stripped and rebuilt .flowed .ported everything that can be done was done .it had a full leather retrim .seneka 17"wheels hel gelb yellow paint job eventually i fitted a vw digital dash not shown. the list is endless but thought i would put couple of pictures on .pictures are not great but never the less. i do miss her

dont listen to them its a nice car i almost got an old one but now have a 2004 1.8t and was thinkin of gettin an old mk2 and make it a drag car

what a choice of car, i love these old mk1s and mk2s ( i know yours is a mk2!!!)

nice car all round mate and well done for restoring it all to former glory most ppl wouldn't have the balls, nice job.

+not to sure about the jetta front headlight conversion though+ tended to like the twins at the front

still bloody good job and get a pic of the digidash on here cos i want to see how it all fits i was considering one for mine.
