Welcome to the forums. Cool setup with your GN. I think the next GN I get will be a t-top car. It's always good to meet another Buick performance guy. this summer I will be going to the LS1 MAF and a translator plus setup with MSD 55# injectors. We shall see how it goes.

You going to get the extender chip with the MAF and Translator?

Might want to try the translator plus.

LS1 3 wire MAF + Extender Chip +Translator plus makes a great tuning ability.

What's the impedence on the MSD's? I used MSD 50's with the stock computer. When I went to the 55's, I needed to have the computer modified to accept the low impedence injectors. Red Armstrong's mods have the peak and hold drivers (whatever they are).

I mean 50's...... My uncle runs the 55's and I just get the two confused. But the 55's are a Low impedence injector, you needed to have your computer moddified or it would have burned up.

Gotta watch the 50's. They can lock up over a certain static pressure (I think it's 43 psi). You may want to have them flow tested to be sure. Mine locked up and it cost $900 for the new head gaskets ;^(.
