bad news

ok so im at this party and ive had about 5 beers two shots of vodka and a buddy wanted to hear my intake so my dumbass decides to drive. So were driving fine i flip around in this turnaround and stop and gun it coming around a turn at about 60-70 mph and all i remember is feeling my car slide a bit and waking up to my buddy saying omg what did you do. We both had to climb out of the passenger window i get out car is totally trashed i had to walk down the road and pick up various parts of the car. All the windows except for drivers and windshield are busted out my rear seats are literally touching my front seats. Thats not even the worst of it i would go into more detail but dont want to make this a long thread. im all banged up but fine my buddy had about 4 cuts on his head. So this morning at about 7:00 i get a knock from VA state police end up getting a reckless for speeding and failure to wear a seatbelt. So needless to say im not drinkin for awhile and this will be my last post until i can save up and buy a new one.

Re: bad news

Your lucky to be alive.

Word of advice to everybody, dont drink and drive. May it be a beer, 1 shot, 2 shots, or 100 shots. 1 bottle of beer can affect reaction time. A lot of people die each year due to drinking and driving.

Re: bad news

Yeah i figured you guys would flame me pretty bad but you know how it is you think your sr8 to drive and your not. Ive learned a huge lesson from this I loved that car to death usually im a responsible driver but it only takes that one time. It still seems like i didnt wreck it and nothing happened but i go outside and dont see it in the driveway and it hits me every time. Truely a shame and a stupid mistake on my part.

Re: bad news

Yeah the damage to the car is mostly on the passengers side and the rear. As soon as i get the money to pay the tow truck bill im bringing it to my house and pullin the engine i think i might try to swap it in a 3rd gen go for a sleeper or something. I think im gonna part it out. So if anybody wants anything let me know its a 94 SI.
