Talking 18-wheelers, hehe

Those things can really move without a load! I was with my freind in his unladen rig, and he beat a camaro off a light. i was thouroughly suprised. Dont mess with rigs that have a driver who knows his shit. Lots of gear changes, yes, but he was damn quick. Not the fastest, but a LOT faster than you'd expect.

Talking

either you're right and your friend knows his stuff, or the driver of the camaro just sucked. But, I have seen some rigs move without a road. Gotta watch out for them though, on the way to Tennessee my cousin had to swerve lanes in his '98 civic because a truck almost hit him. That happened twice in less than an hour by two different trucks

I had that happen once, I guess he couldn't see me passing him. To get him back I waited till it got down to one lane and we were coming up to a steep hill and slowed down to like 25MPH. Then right is I hit the hill I took off. hehe he tried to catch up on the downholl but had didn't have a chance.

One of my buds is a truck driver a he said that if when he is driving and needs to get over he just starts going because as soon as that blinker goes on everyone and their grandma needs to get past the truck befor it gets into their lane. So just watch out.

If anyone seen the movie "Jeepers Creepers" they had a little fast truck in there being driven by the monster from hell... it sounded like it had turbo in it....

btw, the movie sucked so those who haven't seen it, don't even bother... and does anyone know if some of the big rig trucks have some type of forced induction in them?

My bud I was talking about earlier told me his big rig was just N/A. I forgot the engine he said he had in it but it was huge. something around 500 or 600 wheel horses. How would you like to strap that to a civic:sun: :sun:

The cool part isnt even the HP, but the torque those beasts dish out!!

BTW, some trucks are supercharged, some arent. I know that the 2.5 i have my eye on is supercharged.
