Re: 90' Accord High Idle

i'd check for a vacuum leak, or maybe the throttle position sensor is bad? i'm not a mechanic, but that's what i'd check first... is it showing any codes?

Check for a vacuum leak, you should be able to hear it. Wiggle some hoses around with the engine running, that might help you find it. Has the idle been adjusted recently. Now there is a code, most likely it will be for the EACV.

If it's a hose, don't duct tape or half ass it. Get a new hose, please.

Re: 90' Accord High Idle

find the FPR...fuel pressure regulator and see if u see a vacumn line on one end of it.

if thats off then ur rpms will be as you said...

check ur throttle cable for proper deflection and for now lower ur idle with the idle adjustment screw on the throttle body, near that big red hose...its a flathead black screw...
