cruise control

I was driving down the interstate the other day in my 2003 Honda Oddyssey (about 48k miles). And the cruise control simply stopped working. I later checked the cruise control fuse (driver's side fuse box) and it appeared to be fine. I am unclear on why this went out, or what to do in order to troubleshoot. We did hit a pretty big pothole (at least it was noisy on the inside) before the cruise control stopped working -- but no wheel alignment problems that I can tell. I wonder if this jarred something loose.

anyone else run into this? if so, what was the problem?
