The Civic Is UNSTOPPABLE!!!

OK not really, but I felt invincible tonight. But seriously, where have all the racers gone. Nothing but ricers in my area tonight. Kinda sucked. Well, I had quite a few run ins tonight with some "decent ricers". But I'll tell you guys about the top three stories I had tonight.

First Race. A while back I met three ricers, and I beat each one of them. Well, the first kid I raced was in an early/late 90's/80's Civic Hatch. Complete Douche. Wasted his car everytime, and he was a complete idiot. Guess what, I had the pleasure of racing this kid again. This time he was alone, as was I driving my Civ. He seemed to remember me, and when I rolled past him, he did his oh so famous ricer flyby. I shook my head, and just smiled. I knew I already owned his a$$. So I caught up to him. I was in 3rd, and I could care less what gear he was in. We were going 60 and when I was at the side of his door, he punched it. So I jumped on it, and at the top of 3rd I had passed him, so I shifted to fourth and hit 100 and hit the haz lights. The kid got pissed off, flipped me off when he flew by, and pulled into the gas station. Moving on.

Second Race. It was an early 90's Cavy. Dark blue, dropped to the ground, big ol fart can, and some some interior crap. Anyway. I followed behind this guy for a while, seemed like he wasn't paying too much attention to the road. Almost hit the center divide on the strip. So I drove past him, not like a ricer flyby, but just cruised past. I was about 3 car lengths ahead, when I saw in my rearview mirror, he came up fast, flew by, and I could see his passenger looking at my car. Lucky us, a red light was up ahead. So I pulled next to them, and gave the passenger a nod. He looked to the driver, said something then looked back over and gave me a nod. So I put the RPM's to 4k, and they did the same. The light changed, and I smoked my tires, and took a nose lead. They did a good job keeping up, and once I hit 4th, I was 2 car lenghts ahead. I flashed the haz lights again, and slowed down. We met at the next red light, and I rolled down my window. They were both pretty cool. The passenger said their car was single cam, with intake, and exhaust. He said it was no contest for me. I looked at him, and said my car was basically the same, except my vtec controller. They were both surprised when I said that . Well, I waved them off, and they turned left at the next light. Pretty cool guys.

Third Race. This isn't exactly the best race, but it had to be the funniest. 4 guys were piled into this early 90's Explorer. I saw them harrassing some guys in a VDUB, and then they floored it. So I came up to their rear, and pulled onto the left. The driver kept looking in his side mirror at my car like he was waiting for me to go. But I didn't. We caught a light. I looked over to see all the guys looking at me, and then one of them started yelling at me, and then flipped me off. Like he was trying to start shit with some guy by himself. . So I shrugged my shoulders, and cranked up the music. The light changed and they floored it. I wasn't trying, but I figured I'd humor them. So I gunned it, and left them behind. They kept coming up to me, and about 3 or 4 times, I did the same thing. Left them behind. We caught another light, and of course I knew the dumbass who was yelling at me would say something. So I rolled down my window, and sure enough this is how it went:

ME: "What's your problem!"
HIM: "You, I f-ing hate Civics. Why don't you go park your car, and light it on fire!"
ME: I just chuckled.
HIM: "What the hell is so funny!?" (This kid was seriously on something)
ME: "YOU!"
HIM: "What are you going to do about it?"
ME: "Nothing, you aren't worth my time." I looked to his friends who were just looking at me just shrugging. They were alright.
HIM: "Let's take it to the mall parking lot!"
ME: "Sure..."

So we went to the parking lot, and I parked it, stepped out and so did he. As soon as he did, I ran after him, but before I threw a punch he huddled up against the truck, and by this time, his friends looked at him and started laughing. They told him to get in the truck, and he came out of his little huddle, looked at me, and hopped back in with a a look of disgust. His boys apologized to me, and they drove off. Well, sorry I've gotten off topic, but yet it pissed me off. I thought I was going to get my ass kicked by all of them, but I wasn't going to take some crap from some little punk ass High Schooler.

Well, sorry about the ending, wasn't too much of a race, but the others were decent. I know my Civic isn't the shiz, but I couldn't find any decent races for myself. I like to lose, it's fun, and it gives me something to look forward to. But I didn't lose a race the entire night. Which was dissapointing. I was hoping to find Polygon driving around. BTW where is that guy, I haven't heard from that guy in a while. POLYGON, where are you buddy? Well, I'll be out tomorrow, so I would hope to see you. Anyway, enjoy the story, and sorry it has gotten so long. Late...

Ah, I'm still here, I've just been busy lately. I got some sort of virus with flu symptoms and it caused my back to throb constantly so I was spending a lot of time in bed and couldn't go to work. When I finally could go back to work we were way busy so I haven't been able to come around for a while, much less drive the GTC. I might take it out this weekend or next, but the dash vents don't work because if a vacuum leak that I can’t seem to find and it is too freaking cold out right now for my taste.

Also, nice kills. That third guy was a major tool just looking to cause a fight. People like that are just morons especially when they're riding in a Ford Explorer.

Dude, sucks to hear about the car. That sounds like one nasty flu that you had. As for the third incident. The kid was like 5' nothing, skinny as hell, and a mouth as big as he was. His friends were alright. They didn't seem to want any fights. Kinda funny that they made fun of their own friend for dropping his nuts in a fight. Well, I'll admit I was a little worried that they all would have jumped me. It was right in front of the University Mall. It was kinda late, but I wasn't too worried about cops. Funny though. Hope you can get the GTC back in action. Well, you have all winter to get the problem fixed, so no worries for now. Late...
