Car glass fogging up deffoger not clearing
Hello:
I have taken my car to two different GM dealership and they say I don't have a problem but my car windows all fog up and they don't clear-up properly. Today the Service Manager took it for a drive and agreed I had a problem but later said that his Service Manager said that I don't have a problem that is how the Sunfire works. Does anyone else have a problem with Windows fogging up? |

I've had this problem on other cars and it was the heater core leaking. When the defroster is turned on it blows damp air so the windows actually get worse. Just something for you to check..

Re: Car glass fogging up deffoger not clearing
If the heater core was leaking you would smell the coolant, your coolant level would be low. IF YOU DON'T smell it or its not low you have no leak.
Don't take this the wrong way some cars that fog up are due to dirty glass, try cleaning the glass first to rule that out.

I thought the same thing about smelling coolant. My '86 Corvette had a window fogging problem. No loss of coolant and no smell, so I kept driving with a towel in car to wipe window when needed then one day boom it went completly out and left me stranded. Towed car home replaced bad heater core (big job) all is well no more fogging.
