misfire after fixing coolant leak

I just replaced a 2 1/2", 3/8" dia. coolant hose under the throttle body. It had a pin hole and was leaking onto the exhaust shroud underneath it and getting all steamy.

After replacing the hose, the car won't start or if it does, it'll only run for a few seconds. It sounds awful - loud knocks. It's as if I unplugged all the spark plug wires and put them back incorrectly.

What I did: removed the tube from the throttle body to the air cleaner and some plugs in the immediate area. They all are plugged back in.

Thought: under the area where the coolant eventually found it's way onto the exhaust is what looks to be an exhaust oxygen sensor. Not sure how coolant could get passed the threads but could that be an issue?

It was running well until the hose replacement. Not sure if all the steam before the last starting could have affected anything. ?????
