Hey i am new to this. I have a UGLY 1991 Honda Accord. I am going to sell it pretty soon but im taking out the engine and rebuilding it for my MR2 i have. Only problem is i know nothing about rebuilding engines. Would this be possible? or does it not happen?! **its a 1993 MR2** and if i can do it are there any web pages that will help me out with this? Thanx alot people!

Tell me if I understand you correctly. You want to install Accord’s engine (F22A1) into Toyota MR2. And you want to rebuild it first.
Am I correct?

I have a question, what happened to MR2’s engine and why you want to replace it with F22A1?
Reason I’m asking, because F22A1 is not a greatest engine Honda ever produced. It will cost a lot of money fit that engine into MR2 and result will awful.

One more question, for what you want to rebuild F22A1, for forced induction?
If you want to force induction engine why not to get 3SGTE T, which already build for FI, plus it will fit MR2 engine bay much better then F22A1.

why put an accord engine on a mr2 ? The f22ai makes like 125hp. the only thing that f22 are good for is the logevity of the engine. i even wouldn't bother with it. rebuild the mr2 engine.
