Looking to buy a 'Lude si H23A1 4ws question

What to look for in 4WS?
Maintainence/repair/modification issues etc.
The example I am currently looking at has even tire wear but beyond this and the alignment "feel" I don't know what to look for.
What issues may come up down the line with a 4WS car?

Is there a difference in manual trans between H23 and H22 cars?

As for power mods do any bolt-ons(I,H,E,ecu?,cam gears) make significant gains(on a dyno)?
160HP and 2900lbs seems like a bit of a slug.
Thanks for any help.

Still looking for info on 4th Gen 4WS

I like Preludes,I'm trying to buy one. That you are bragging about spanking Hyundais and Kias with an H23A1 with I,H,E answers my question about the efficacy of bolt-ons on this motor given the weight of the car..
Hell the new "family" Accord has 100 more hp so the H23 'lude is a slug!Albeit a very nice looking one.
Still looking for info on any particular repair/maintainence issues with 4WS.

Re: Looking to buy a 'Lude si H23A1 4ws question

from the 4ws i have drivin', i notice more of a difference at slow speeds. i personally think it is too much trouble to mess with, for what it does. but as far as being a slug.... i have as much bolt-ons as you could get without really digging too much into the engine, turbo, or nos. i toast 5.0 stangs and camaros (not LT1's) all the time. hell i even tear up my friends audi tt quattro turbo. i am just assuming you've never driven a H23a lude. not to mention, a H22a lude, is a hell of a lot faster than mine.
