Re: Fuel Filter Replacement

Go to www.kragen.com, pick your model, than proceed to Replacement Parts.

It's located just inside the framerail on the driver's side. Simple wrench off, wrench on process. One hint: replace it when you're almost out of gas, and you'll have less fuel leak out.

In the engine bay, on the firewall, behind the enigne if it's a 2.7L I4

Next to the driver's side frame rail underneath your truck, if it's a 3.4L V6.

The V6's fuel filter is a breeze to change, the I4's it tougher due to space constraints.

Be sur eto slacken your fuel cap before you start working on either, it will release the pressure in the system and you won't lose as much fuel on you, on the ground, etc.

Re: Fuel Filter Replacement

Be Sure not to use a straight wrench. You'll round off the nut with the first turn.

Use a open end hex wrench/fuel line wrench.
