Anyone know if there's going to be another group buy for the ECU Upgrade in the near future? I've been away from most of the forums for the last few months and didn't even find out about it until recently.

Anyone know what they sell the upgrade for without the group buy?

Thanks

Ok... I'm a little out of the loop on these ECU upgrades. Is it 95-96 only, or can my '98 handle it (without having to swap in an older stock ECU)?

Also, I live in Massachusetts (also called Taxachusetts) which has KRAZY emissions enforcement. The emmissions dyno has a direct link to the registry. They police inspection stations. Fraudulent stickers'll land the inspector in jail.

The police come out on the first of every month on every major road and give anyone with an expired sticker a ticket.

(Cops are BITCHES. Period.)

You can't bribe ANYONE to give you a sticker. Doesn't matter how poor their shop is.

So the big question is, what's it do for smog? Will I bandit my car if I do it?

Thanks,
Shayyadin

I got my upgrade this morning. It took 2 hours from the time I arrived at G Force till the time I left. I live about 80 miles from Torrance so on the drive back I did some testing and was quite impressed with the results. Robert and the people at G Force were awesome.

I have a 95 GLE, have never heard about these ECU upgrades. Are they easy to install, and what kind of performance gain can I expect? Do they affect gas mileage? Thanks for any info.

as far as fuel economy. its allowing the car to be more EFFICIENT, so you'll get MORE gas mileage out of the car. but then again, you'll be flooring it more, so, you'll use up more gas then..

as far as gains are concerned. example. 96 5speed with intake, ypipe, made over 16 hp on the wheels and over 19 ft/lb torque on nabil's car. but every car is different, but all cars gain power.

for more info, just email
[email protected]

or me.
