Second lowest I found is the best compromise between lowering and ride. You'll have to play with the shock settings to find out what you like. Probably start them at about 6 clicks from full hard and go from there.

Are you on the 2nd to lowest setting in the photos on G20net? where on the damper is the place where you adjust the softness?

mrc- which spring rate did you get? i got soft ones and it sits about as low as gforces' pict at 2nd from lowest too. the soft spring was suppose to be longer, but it settled in to be about the same height. mine's set at I think 11clicks from full hard front/rear. u might wanna go 3rd perch from bottom

I am at 1.7" and have stock settings ..

I find the ride good as it is, but maybe that's because I was use to the brutal ride the stock suspension gave me.

Clockwise is to loosen or tighten?

mrc - yah, they do click like 23 or 24, but don't use it any softer than 16clicks from full hard (full clockwise, then ccw 11 clicks as your starting point). break those in first too...don't set it up too stiff the first 500miles or so...especially in the cold.

Preciate the info. I talked to Luke and he said something about using 5.
I don't know if it was 5 from the hardest or 5 from the softest. But how hard is it to get to the rear dampers to adjust?

mrc- no prob. 5 from full hard is too stiff for street. you'll be hoppin around too much... 11 clicks is probably borderline with comfort and performance from the NA's. if you try other higher performance dampers youll notice that the NA's rebound is on the fast side.

the rears arent too hard to adjust. just pull down the seats, take the rubber trim around the hole to the trunk, take off the clips under the trim, pull out the trunk liner a little bit and you'll be able to access the setting knob. its good to have a flashlight.

I gave the 11 clicks a whirl today. I'm gonna try the 6 clicks - because I found that with 11, the ride wasn't that stiff and not as comfortable. Anyone know how many clicks are the stock settings? When I had them on the stock settings, the ride was great.

direct comparison to the stock ride was about 13 or 14 clicks but the problem is full bump on expressways.

teins recommends starting out at like 6 clicks or something on the manual. under 9clicks is too stiff for street, imo. Id like to use 13 clicks for my commuter.
