Question for Import turbo guys?
Ok As some of you may have heard me rant about Alcohol injection for your turbo/supercharged cars. Why don't any of you import turbo guys run it? There are soooo many Turbo Buicks in the 10's and 11's on 91 octante pump gas with Alcohol injection. and they all run 19-25 PSI of boost.
Now I realize that at Turbo Buick is a different engine than what you guys have but internal combustion is internal combustion. Besides I think your engines would benifit even more from it because you have such a smaller piston that does not promote deationation. It's a good way to run High boost on pump gas and it's almost like having insurance for your head gaskets and pistons. I am just wondering why this is, If for some reason I have sparked an intrest in it and you want to know how it works then just let me know and I would be happy to explain it ( Including give truth so some myths and lies about Alcohol injection. i dunno.....a buddy of mine has it on his gn.....good post. Wish I was going to the nats this year...only been there once.
