Question '93 burb int lights

My '93 suburban int lights do not come on with opening of front driver's door. Works properly with other doors. Thoughts? New guy here. Thx

I had a similiar problem but in reverse, the lights did not go out when I closed the door. The culprit was a broken switch which is found on the left side of the dashboard where the door panel makes contact with the dash. For you, however, if this switch is stuck in the open position (not sticking out of the dash) your circuit is in the open position and the lights will not come on. Perhaps this will help.
