i was installing a (design-tech auto command) starter and i mistakenly connected the + headlight wire to the - wire on the cars switch and now the headlights do not work at all. the car is a 2002 honda civic lx.
I checked the headlight fuses and the relay in the engine area fuse box but they are ok, is there another fuse box for the headlights somewhere? or is the autos headlight switch blown .(the running lights still work when i turn them on) thanks for any help |

Re: headlight wiring/fuse
i dont know about your car but the same thing happend to my 85 supra and i did the same and checked everything so i took it in to a dealer ship and it took them 5 hours the find the short. they tore apart my hole car. it costed me $300 just to get the head lights to work so if i was you try to find the problem your self, unless it under warrenty then you sould take it to the dealer.
