Re: quick internet explorer question

Okay I open one window and go to af.com, minimize it, double click on ie and it just brings up the old window replacing af.com with my homepage.

Re: quick internet explorer question

did you install some software from the cable provider?..that might have caused it

another thing you could try is do an upgrade of IE...if you don't have the last version

also try to scan your comp using spybot and adaware since some spyware likes to hijack your browsers

btw i also recomend givinf the new mozilla firebird a try...this is my main browser for a few months now and i absolutelly love it you can get it at :

Re: quick internet explorer question

yeh, run some antivirus programs as it may be that, also check your settings for anything that you may want to change. But i recommend getting Mozilla, as thats alot better browser, and also it doesnt have any of the exploits for it, as IE does.

Re: quick internet explorer question

Once the AF window is up, within ie go to File->New->Window. Or the keyboard shortcut to do this is ctrl + n
This should bring up another ie window at the same website. From here you should be good to go.

Re: quick internet explorer question

What version of IE are you running. Click "help", and then "about" at the top to find out. If it is 5.0 or earlier, go to microsoft.com and get the latest.
