1993 Conversion To Fuel Injection
I have searched through tons of posts looking to find out if anyone else has converted there 1991 to 1995 350 to fuel injection. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a kit. Im looking for better fuel mileage and more power. Any info would be great!! Heard about the Chip already As well and im gonna give it a try.
Thanks for any help! |

Re: 1993 Conversion To Fuel Injection
I am guessing you are talking about a Muti-port fuel injection kit, since your truck already has fuel injection, it just has throtle body injection. I had the Edelbrock Multi-Point fuel injection on my last truck. It really didnt make that much of a difference in power, and the gas milage seemed to get worse. It was a big job and it required a new fuel pump too. As for a chip, if you plan on getting the multi-point, it has its own chip, and you cant use any other after market chip with the kit.
Also... After installing the Edelbrock muti-point kit, my truck surged really bad when rolling off the throttle. Edelbrock said this is "normal". Let me know if you have any other questions. |
